Photography; manufacture of mirrors; other silver salts; silver plating; in sympathetic and indelible inks; dyeing hair; coloring porcelain; etching ivory; extensively used reagent in analytical chemistry; topical antiinfective; used in animals as an astringent, antiseptic, caustic, styptic, in dilute solutions as eye lotion and intramammary to destroy secretory tissue. May cause gray-brown discoloration of the conjunctivae and black discoloration of the fingernails. ABCD
