TRANEXAMIC ACID

Is a strong inhibitor of tyrosinase with a powerful depigmenting effect, even in cases of melasma.

FREQUENCY

The recommended frequency of application is fortnightly. In general, three to five sessions are carried out and, then, a maintenance session should be carried out every month or month and a half.

INGREDIENTS

Glycolic acid (49%), Aqua, Alcohol denat., Kojic acid (7%),Tranexamic acid (5%), Citric acid (4%), Lactic acid (2.7%), Salicylic acid (2%), Hydroxyethylcellulose, Benzyl alcohol, Phenoxyethanol, Potassium sorbat.

Protocol

STEP 1
Cleansing and make-up removal: Use cotton pads soaked in Micellar Water until the correct make-up removal and proper cleansing of the area to be treated. Do not rinse.

STEP 2
Degreasing: Use a gauze soaked in Degreasing Lotion to rub vigorously the area to be treated in order to assure the correct degreasing of skin’s fatty layer.

STEP 3
Apply the Lightening peel with a flat brush over the entire affected Surface. The goal is to achieve a medium level erythema as even as possible. Neutralise with plenty of cold water.

STEP 4
Apply a Simil Care mask for 15 minutes. Remove totally or partially depending on the skin hydration.

STEP 5
Apply sunscreen after this treatment and use it as a home treatment twice or three times a day is essential, whenever the skin is exposed to outdoors.

Properties of its Components

Glycolic acid:
Obtained from sugarcane. Keratolytic action, homogenises colour, renews and remodels skin, anti-wrinkles, anti-stretch marks.

Kojic acid:
Obtained by fungal fermentation (aspergillus). Fungistatic, bacteriostatic and antimicrobial effects. Inhibits melanogenesis, reduces the effect of solar radiation.

Tranexamic acid:
Is a strong inhibitor of tyrosinase with a powerful depigmenting effect, even
in cases of melasma.

Citric acid:
Obtained from lemon, lime, orange and pineapple. Antioxidant. Soft exfoliant.Regenerative. Keratolytic. Photo-antiaging.

Lactic acid:
Obtained from fermented milk. Deep keratolytic, moisturising, toning effect.Clarifying.

Salicylic acid: obtained from Salix. Bacteriostatic, sebo-regulator. Great cell regeneration.Capacity.
